Obituary

James “Jim” R. Radtke, age 89, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Froedtert in Milwaukee. He was born on December 30, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI to Ewald and Leona (nee Koerner) Radtke. Jim was a Korean Conflict Veteran. He worked for 38 years, as a lineman, for WE Energies.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Nancy (nee Scholtka); 4 daughters, Debra Rosenthal, Nancy (Dennis) Biedrzycki, Patricia (Michael Barsch) Radtke, Catherine (Justin) Gerken; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Lonnie (Alan) Holzer. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his 2 grandsons, his parents, his 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Nancy, sending heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your Jim. Sending condolences from Bob Dufek family. Bob left us in 2013,, Mom in 1981. Memories of Mrs Karl’s specials Jim & our Mom would pick up. I personally haven’t seen you Nancy & Jim since 1986 were we sat together at my father in laws retirement party. May our Father send his peace to Jim’s family at this hard time of missing him. Aunt Nancy,
So sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family. This is a hard time I know. Uncle Jim gave special memories to many people. I remember canoeing up the trout stream with him off Highway S. One of those days I will always remember.
