Obituary for Terry Lee Goschey

Terry L. Goschey, 53, of West Bend passed away Monday December 30, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. He was surrounded by the people he loved most, his wife and children.
He was born April 9, 1960 in West Bend. Terry graduated from West Bend East High School in 1978. On July 9, 1983 he married the love of his life, Joanne Wamsley. Together they had 2 wonderful children, Timm & Brittany. Terry started a career in Tool and Die, at the time of his death he was employed as a Moldmaker Engineer and Tool Room Supervisor at Ci-Dell Plastics in Mequon, WI.
Terry was very active and loved playing golf and riding his motorcycle. Some of his fondest memories were of vacations taken with his wife and children. He especially enjoyed trips to Walt Disney World, including his most recent trip in August. Terry was a very kind hearted person and he always enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He was loved and respected by most everyone he met and will be deeply missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne, children Timm (Audrey Whitlatch), of Portland, Oregon, and Brittany (Cory) Graham, of West Bend. He was looking forward to the birth of his first grandson, due in February. He is further survived by his parents Herbert and Nancy Goschey, brothers Jim (Laura) of Naperville, IL and Rick (Julie) of Crystal Lake, IL, his mother in law, Trudy Wamsley, brother in law Rick Wamsley of Indianapolis, IN, a dear friend, Al Pérez, of West Bend and many other relatives and friends.
Terry was hospitalized for a long time, through that time he always had a positive attitude and never complained. He fought a tough battle and never lost hope. He did not want people to mourn his death and we are honoring his wish by not having a funeral service. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Terry's life will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated. Phillip Funeral Home is serving the family.
