Obituary

Thomas Steven Hoag, age 73 of Slinger, WI, passed away on August 13th, 2019 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, WI. He was born on February 11th, 1946 to Stephen and Helen Hoag in Toledo, Ohio. He was raised in Northlake, IL, attending West Leyden High School. He went on to serve in the United States Army in Vietnam. Tom’s first love was fishing. He would rather fish than anything else. He shared his love of the sport with many good friends and his brother, Chuck. They spent many hours out on the boat on many Wisconsin lakes. He enjoyed spending time at his favorite “watering hole” with all the guys- he was usually the life of the party. He was close to his siblings and kept in touch often. He was also a member of the American Leigon.

Tom is survived by sisters Sue Green of Bartlett, IL, Patricia (Robert) Evensen of Fort Atkinson, WI, Cathy Oyston of Lake In The Hills, IL, Sandra Giddins of Steiger, IL and brother Charles (Gayle) Hoag of Winfield, IL., and his companion Barbara Willson of Slinger, WI. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, his goddaughter Tina Garza of Kaukana, WI, and his dear friend Mark Beth.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Helen Hoag, and nephew Brian Giddins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday September 1st at Noey's Bar and Grill (4920 Hwy 175 Hartford, WI 53027). Gathering times are from 2:00pm until 6:00pm with Military Honors at 2:00pm.
