Obituary for Frank Eugene Pozy
Frank E. Pozy, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. He was born on August 3, 1934 in Milwaukee. He attended South Division High School and UW Milwaukee. He married Rosemary (nee Watry) on January 31, 1971 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Frank worked at Allen Bradley for 20 years and taught plastics at Lakeshore Technical Institute. He loved reading, playing chess, spending time with family and attending family picnics where he enjoyed roasting corn.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Mathilda) Reid, Heather (Tony) Haller, Mikel Reid, Leith Reid, Pozy Clark; canine companion, Bridgette; great-nieces, Deanna Reid, Amy (Andrew) Simons; great-nephews, Brian (Scilla) Nelson and Michael Nelson. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Beatrice (nee Barns) Pozy; sister, Judith Pozy; and nephew, Robbie Reid.
The Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095). The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 20th at 6:00 PM with Fr. Edwin Kornath presiding. Interment will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery in the Town of Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to Holy Trinity Parish in Kewaskum, the Salvation Army, or Cedar Community.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Cedar Community for all the loving care they provided to Frank, the doctors and staff members at Zablocki VA Regional Medical Center and Froedtert West Bend Clinic.
